Just like millions of other people everyday I recently discoverd the World of online Poker and to put it mildly…I’m hooked! While it’s not quite true to say I’ve only just discovered it, I’ve known of its existence since it’s inception, but to me like many people the game seemed a bit scary and very daunting. It looked like it was moving very fast and while the colors were very pretty and the sounds were neat, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I felt like the dumbest kid in the classroom, and at my age that’s some mean achievement believe me.

Well I finally bit the bullet a few months back and guess what? It’s actually not that hard or scary at all. In fact it’s so simple even a…well, the dumbest kid in the classroom can do it! The rules are very simple indeed and the pace, while at first seems like lightning, isn’t that bad once you get used to it and after a few hands you’ll find that it’s you screaming at the monitor for that damn newbie to hurry the f**k up!

Why have I created this site? I just told you fool! I’m hooked, I’m addicted, I’m a god damn junkie and I’m jonesing for a fix every day of my sad pathetic life.

I’ve read so much online about the game it’s frightening (that’s geeky), I’ve bought so many books and read them cover to cover you wouldn’t believe (that’s very geeky), I’ve even ordered a damn Party Poker baseball cap off ebay so I can sit here in front of my PC and look like I’m at the WSOP for Christ’s sake! (that’s just pathetic man!). I’m rapidly becoming somewhat of an ‘expert’ at the game and I wanted to get some of that out there into the big , bad, scary World in the hope that it might inspire some other scaredy cat to take the plunge and get wet.

There’s a wealth of information and resources out there and believe me the Poker rooms will make it so easy for you to give them your money it’s not even funny.

Spend some time looking round the site and I’m sure you’ll find something that will be of interest.

I’d also encourage you to download software from any one of the online Poker rooms, my personal favorite is Hollywood Poker, find a ‘play money’ table and get busy!
